Dave has many years experience of providing training in carbon and energy management practices. This covers all elements of the managerial, technical and behavioural aspects of a successful approach. He has provided this to global industrial, commercial and hospitality businesses, helping these organisations grow their internal skills and capability leading to reduced energy costs and emissions.
Over the last 10 years or so, Dave has increasingly provided discrete, training and mentoring to C-Suite professionals from a range of multi billion dollar businesses and organisations. The fast changing global business environment now routinely includes Net Zero, Sustainability and Circularity metrics as key measures of 'success', which was not the case just a few years ago. This means that C-Suite professionals often need to acquire new skills and an updated appreciation of the external drivers that their stakeholders, (i.e. customers, shareholders, employees, banks, law makers and suppliers) expect both now and in the near and longer term. All board members need to understand these issues sufficiently before making key strategic decisions.
Addressing the Net Zero and lower carbon future means that action needs to be taken to make a difference. Dave has provided technical training courses to thousands of individuals over the years on a wide range of techniques and technologies that organisations need to utilise. These can be delivered in a range of ways, from short 30 minute briefings, through to comprehensive 3 or 5-day, on-site training workshops that include detailed practical exercises.
Although the best training outcomes are always achieved in person - where face to face interaction between Dave and the delegates can be established, it is possible to deliver training remotely, via Teams or Zoom, etc. Additionally, material or modules can be prepared for organisations to utilise as part of their in-house 'university' or training and development programmes.
