Owner's Engineer, Due Diligence and Project Management

 Dave has experience of being an Owner's Engineer (OE). In this role he acts as an independent third-party advocate for a project 'owner', providing technical expertise and oversight of project management activities. Throughout, he represents the owner's interests improving project success. Acting as an extension of the owner's team, he fills knowledge or resource gaps, oversees designers and contractors, upholds quality and compliance, and mitigates risks related to scope, cost and schedule.  

Due to Dave's 35 years experience he has obtained a wealth of knowledge and experience when it comes to transactional due diligence. These skills have also helped him to assist clients with dispute resolution when projects do not go as planned.

Dave has managed a vast number of projects both organisationally and practically. This has ranged from leading a team of 35 professionals for a two week project for a client in China, through to project managing all the aspects of installing a new chiller on the top of a working hospital during the COVID-19 pandemic.
